2001 Annual Meeting & Zuchtschau

Nancy Schneider withQueen von der Rorner Heide, VJP, SG5

Dr. Gayla Combes, DVM during panel discussion
The panel discussion held at the 2001 annual meeting was excellent.  There were a number of exceeding informative segments, with highlights on canine behavior, nutrition, e-collar training, water retrieve training, etc.

John Rachford
A variety of our members  entered their own dogs in the zuchtschau, and some helped handle others' dogs, as well!

Shelby Smith with Satan Rote Hecke
Shelby Smith, daughter of member Dr. Jim Smith, was the hit of the annual meeting!  As shown in this photo, she shows great promise as a future handler in our zuchtschau!!

Everyone enjoyed getting to watch their favorite young handler, Kate Runge, daughter of member Rich Runge.  Kate's DK Zita, was rated SG1 in the juvenile hundin class.  Great Job, Kate!!

Dr. Ed Bailey, Ph.D. during Panel Discussion

Guest speaker, Dr. Ed Bailey, thrilled listeners with his informative discussion of canine behavior.  According to Dr. Bailey, the number two behavior problem seen in versatile breeds is that of separation anxiety.  Dr. Bailey kindly put his time at our members' disposal to answer specific questions about their personal dogs.
